Nan’s 90th Birthday
imageLast month my Nan celebrated her 93rd birthday. I was going through some photos and came across this one of her 90th. Nan is in the middle with her sisters, Aunty Betty on the left and Aunty Hilda on the right. Unfortunately Aunty Hilda died nearly two years ago so visiting England in a few weeks won't be quite the same but seeing Nan and Aunty Bett will be great.

Nan's real name is Maude Knowlson, nee Goodwin. I have a picture of her when she was in her early 20s but it needs scanning in - I'll post that sometime in the future.

Nan has gone thru several surgeries - knee, hip, cataract - and she still goes shopping every week. Recently she has joined several clubs although I don't know what they are yet. When I visit her in October I'll bring you all up to date.

Many items you would have purchased must have come with their own boxes, such as the television, the refrigerator and even the washing machine. You could use the same boxes to re pack them, and if they are not available, you will need to look for similar boxes so that the items fit snugly when you pack them for transportation.storage mississauga
